Get Involved!

There are several ways for you to get involved:

1.) Attend a Planning and Zoning Commission Meeting or Work Session
The public is invited to attend regularly-scheduled and special meetings of the Planning and Zoning Commission. For a list of meeting dates, please review the Draft POCD Schedule. All meeting materials are posted on the documents page. To view agendas and minutes, please visit the meetings page

2.) Attend a Public Workshop
Public workshops  will be held several times throughout the planning process in order to give residents, business owners, and other interested parties a chance to provide input on the overall vision, goals, objectives, and recommendations of the Plan. The first workshop is expected to take place on February 8th, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. in the Wilton High School Cafeteria.

3.) Participate in Surveys
Online surveys will take place throughout the POCD process. The first survey is expected to be launched following the February Public Workshop. Online surveys will be posted on the Wilton 2029 website and town website. Please visit the Surveys Page for more information.

Telephone Survey – The Town has retained the services of The Center for Research & Public Policy, Inc. (CRPP) who will conduct a confidential, random, mixed-access survey of 400 residents town-wide. This survey would provide statistically valid results. The PZC has opted to implement the telephone survey in the fall of 2018 in order to gain feedback on policy recommendations, action items, and other key community issues.

4.) Focus Groups
Focus Groups are facilitated sessions of invited participants dedicated to specific topics or geographic areas that are in need of deeper public input or discussion. Focus groups are anticipated to take place in the Spring of 2018.
